Kaley Cuoco couldn’t be more thrilled for her “Meet Cute” co-star Pete Davidson and his girlfriend, Kim Kardashian.
“I am so happy for him,” the “Flight Attendant” star told “Entertainment Tonight” Tuesday. “He deserves it. He’s a total sweetheart, so it’s great.”
Cuoco, 36, and the “Saturday Night Live” star, 28, were briefly the subject of dating rumors in August 2021 after they were photographed looking cozy amid her divorce from Karl Cook.
However, the pair were simply in character for their upcoming romantic comedy, in which the “Big Bang Theory” alum plays a woman who finds a time machine in a Manhattan nail salon and uses it to relive her perfect date — and figure out where it all went wrong.
“It’s cute,” Cuoco teased. “The movie is so cute. He’s cute. We had so much fun. He’s hilarious. I don’t know how they’re gonna edit it together, because all we did is laugh and screw up our lines. It’s an adorable movie. I’m very proud of it.”
Not long after the co-stars were briefly linked, Davidson struck up a romance with Kardashian. They were first spotted together in October and made their relationship Instagram-official in March.
The reality star, 41, has been an open book lately about dating the “King of Staten Island” actor, admitting on Monday’s episode of Hoda Kotb’s “Making Space” podcast that she never expected things to get serious between them.
“I think that, you know, sometimes things happen when you just least expect it. It was the last thing that I was really planning on,” she said. “And so when it did happen, we were kind of like, ‘Oh my God, I wasn’t planning on this. And this isn’t even what I was thinking of.’
“It just makes it that much sweeter and so much more fun,” she added.
Kardashian was previously married to Kanye West, with whom she shares four children: North, 8, Saint, 6, Chicago, 4, and Psalm, 2.
