Juventus ‘ready to freeze Aaron Ramsey out of the first-team should Wales international stay in Turin beyond the January transfer window’ – as 31-year-old continues to reject return to the Premier League
- Aaron Ramsey has been heavily linked with a return to the Premier League
- Crystal Palace, Newcastle and Burnley have all been linked with a move for him
- Yet Ramsey is yet to accept an offer and has a contract at Juve until June 2023
- But latest reports say Ramsey will be taken off Juve’s European list if he stays
Aaron Ramsey could reportedly be completely frozen out of the Juventus squad should he remain in Turin this season.
The ex-Arsenal midfielder has been heavily linked with a return to the Premier League with Crystal Palace, Newcastle and Burnley.
Yet the 31-year-old is yet to receive a satisfactory offer in his eyes and with his contract not expiring until the summer of 2023, he could still stay put at the Italian giants.

But Italian outlet Il Bianconero, as reported by Football Italia, state that Juve boss Max Allegri could leave Ramsey sitting in the stands for the rest of the season as he is not in his first-team plans.
It adds that they would remove the Wales international off their list of players eligible to play in the Champions League.
Full back Luca Pellegrini would replace Ramsey should he stay beyond the end of the January window.
Ramsey has made one Serie A start for Juve this season and has come off the bench twice
Ramsey – who contracted coronavirus earlier this month – joined the Old Lady on a free transfer in July 2019 after spending 11 years at Arsenal.
During that time, Ramsey has featured just 69 times and scored six goals due to ongoing injures.
As it stands, Ramsey has made just one Serie A start for Allegri’s side this season and has come off the bench twice.
