Juan Toscano-Anderson looked into the crowd at the Warriors championship parade on Monday and saw a version of his younger self.

A kid from East Oakland who grew up a die-hard Warriors fan, Toscano-Anderson is now a champion with his childhood team, becoming the first player of Mexican descent to win an NBA title.

So when he saw a young fan with a Warriors jersey yelling and cheering as he passed by, Toscano-Anderson couldn’t help but show him some love.

And he even took it a step further.

Toscano-Anderson, after asking for permission, lifted the young fan over the barrier and let him run through the streets of the parade with him.

“I love you,” the boy can be heard telling Toscano-Anderson.
