Monday was an interesting night in the NBA. The Grizzlies blew out the Hawks in a game without Ja Morant or Trae Young, while the Heat grinded out an 87-82 win over the Pacers. That doesn’t leave much to be desired from those two games. Luckily, a lot of stars like Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Jaren Jackson Jr. and Damian Lillard shined with monster nights, but there wasn’t a ton of value to be found from widely available players. So here’s five guys to target in your leagues, depending on how healthy the guys in front of them are.

Jordan Goodwin- 34% rostered in Yahoo! leagues

Goodwin has been incredible lately, which has allowed him to start their last two games in place of the injured Monte Morris. During these starts, Goodwin has averaged 14 points, 6.5 assists and 4.0 steals per game. Morris just hasn’t been very good this season, so there’s a real chance that Goodwin could take his starting spot when both guys are healthy. If that’s the case, Goodwin needs to be rostered everywhere. Even if he comes off the bench, Goodwin has been good enough to earn a permanent role on this team.

Will Barton- 15%

Barton returned from a one-game absence on Monday, which was his first game with Jordan Goodwin, Deni Avdija and Corey Kispert all in the starting lineup. That left Barton to be the main scoring option off the bench. He was able to put up 22 points, seven rebounds, seven assists and four 3-pointers. If Morris remains out, Barton should continue to play big minutes off the bench.

Daniel Gafford- 15%

Kristaps Porzingis exited their loss to Brooklyn in the third quarter, which allowed Gafford to play 20 minutes and finish with 10 points and 10 rebounds. It was a back injury for Porzingis, which isn’t a good sign. He said he feels better after treatment and appears to be on track to play in Denver on Wednesday. However, if anything changes, Gafford will start and provide rebounds and blocks while shooting a high percentage.

Isaiah Joe- 1%

The Thunder’s rotation this season has been infuriating from game to game with how much it changes. On Monday, he hit four triples and reeled in seven rebounds. He has now hit multiple triples in four straight games and in seven of his last eight appearances. That has allowed him to post top-100 numbers over the last week.

Aaron Nesmith- 2%

Over the last two weeks, Nesmith has nearly provided top-125 value. He was solid once again on Monday, finishing with 12 points, six rebounds, two steals, three blocks and two triples. He won’t join his teammate Myles Turner as a dominant rim protector often, but he can certainly provide steals and triples in deeper leagues.

Tyus Jones- 32%

In five games without Ja Morant this year, Jones has averaged 20.6 points, 8.4 assists, 2.0 steals and 2.6 triples per game. Ja missed their win over Atlanta on Monday, which of course led to a dominant night from Jones. Every time Ja misses a game, Jones needs to be in lineups everywhere. If you have the roster spot, Jones may be worth stashing for the next time Morant is dealing with an injury.
