Brooks Koepka’s wife, Jena Sims, was ‘incredibly proud’ as she celebrated the golfer’s fifth major win on social media Sunday.
Koepka clinched his fifth major victory Sunday, lifting the Wanamaker trophy for a third time, after he beat out Scottie Scheffler and Viktor Hovland at the PGA Championship.
The win, which marked the first time a LIV Golf player has won a major since the rebel series began last June, was an emotional one for Koepka after his recent battle back from knee injuries.
However, Sims, 34, wasn’t able to be at Oak Hill for her husband’s victory.
The model and Sports Illustrated hopeful, who has been married to the five-time major winner for just under a year and is currently pregnant with their first child, was in Miami for promotional events for the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit edition.

But she made sure to follow her husband’s final round anxiously from the couch.
She posted a video to TikTok, with the television still showing Koepka on the 18th green in the background, alluding to her pregnancy.
She posed in front on the screen, proudly showing her baby bump, writing: ‘I’m so incredibly proud but I know someone who’s going to be even more stoked. Baby K’s first major.’
Over on Instagram, Sims shared a photo to her Instagram story of her sprawled out with Cove, the black Lab, the couple share.
She added a screengrab of herself on FaceTime to Koepka immediately after the victory, along with a hand emoji holding up all five fingers and the number five emoji, to celebrate it being Koepka’s fifth major win.
Sims also filmed her television screen during Koepka’s press conference as he discussed calling her.
She appeared to get emotional as she captioned the clip, ‘this sent me,’ as he told reporters his wife was the only person he was interested in speaking to in the immediate aftermath of his triumph at Oak Hill.
In yet another story, she highlighted the significance of Koepka’s win, writing: ‘1 in 20 golfers in the history of the sport with 5 majors. I’m in awe of you @BKoepka. You’re handling this win with grace and badass-ness. Congratulations, baby daddy.’

Sims also had a brilliant response to someone who questioned why she wasn’t at Oak Hill in person on TikTok.
She replied to the comment with a clip of her jokingly climbing a step ladder in front of Koepka’s trophy cabinet to begin dusting it, adding, ‘I was busy making room for new hardware.’
Sims shared the exciting news that she and Koepka were expecting their first child via Instagram earlier this month, while wishing the athlete, 33, a happy birthday.
‘Happiest birthday, the best is yet to come,’ she captioned a carousel of photos that showed the sports star kissing her baby bump and holding up a sonogram photo.
The happy couple posed on the beach together as the sun set behind them. Jena donned a pair of unbuttoned jeans, a white bikini top, and an unzipped gray sweatshirt – which left her growing tummy on full display.

They officially tied the knot during a stunning beach-side wedding in Turks and Caicos in June 2022, surrounded by their close friends and family.
After claiming second place at the Masters last month Koepka went one better at Oak Hill to become one of only 20 golfers to win five majors and his first in four years.
The win will elevate Koepka from 44th to 13th in the updated world rankings and will also move him into the automatic qualifying places for the United States Ryder Cup team.
With the top six going straight into Zach Johnson’s squad of 12, Koepka is expected to sit second, albeit without being able to secure any further points until next month’s US Open as his LIV circuit is currently deemed ineligible by golf’s official world rankings body.
