The Boston Celtics are the best team in the NBA right now and much of the impetus for that excellence is the elite play of superstar Celtics forward Jayson Tatum, who has been playing like a top-five player in the league.
And not just a top-five player, but a leading candidate for the league’s 2023 Kia Most Valuable Player award, meaning he’s probably closer to a top two or three player in terms of his play in the early going of the 2022-23 season. How are he and his teammates making this possible? What plays are they running that are making the St. Louis native a threat in so many ways?
The folks at the Alex Hoops YouTube channel put together another excellent Celtics breakdown video to show us how Tatum has leveled up as a player.
Take a look at the clip embedded above to see what has the Duke alum at the top of the shortlist of 2023 MVP candidates.
