After an up and down start to their season, Chicago Bulls are playing their best basketball as of late.

The Bulls have won eight of their last 11 games, including a three-game winning streak, moving up from the No. 11 seed in the Eastern Conference to the No. 9 seed and currently in the play-in tournament.

With Chicago’s hot play comes the return of Zach LaVine playing at an All-Star level.

“First couple of back to backs, I played and didn’t feel great,” LaVine said following Saturday night’s win. “Now I feel great. Legs feel healthy. Felt springy at the beginning of the game. So, yeah it’s good to feel like me again.”

LaVine scored 36 points in Saturday’s victory over Utah on 12-of-21 from the field and 6-of-12 from behind the arc.

In the last 10 games, LaVine is averaging 27.5 points per game on 52.8 percent from the floor and 51.4 percent from 3-point land.

“We’re playing well. We’re making big plays. I’m not saying we’re playing perfect, but we’re competing,” LaVine said. “We’re coming to each game with a certain type of energy and confidence and we need to keep taking it game by game. We’re not trying to look ahead and get ahead of ourselves.”

With the way Chicago is playing as of late, next month’s trade deadline might not be as active as we once thought.
