Isaiah Hartenstein taking over center minutes?

There were only five games on Tuesday, which didn’t leave room for many players to stand out and prove that they belong on your fantasy team. To make up for that, we’ll look at some players that are widely available that could be in line for big minutes on Wednesday.

Tuesday featured a bunch of close games, with the Heat eking out a win in Cleveland to open the night. The Lakers beat the Knicks in overtime as LeBron James moved into 4th on the all-time assist leaderboard. The Clippers overcame an early 19-point deficit to beat the Bulls. The Bucks outpaced the Hornets in a fast-paced game that featured 216 shot attempts. Nikola Jokić wrapped up the night with yet another triple-double to give the short-handed Pelicans their ninth straight loss.

Isaiah Hartenstein- 21%

The New York center situation seemed to have clarity with Mitchell Robinson sidelined, but Tuesday’s game proved otherwise. Jericho Sims has been starting, but he only played 13 minutes to Hartenstein’s 40 against the Lakers. Hartenstein finished with 15 points and 13 rebounds, which makes him more than worthy of a roster spot, if Tom Thibodeau keeps playing him more than Sims.

Jalen McDaniels- 37%

He comes off the bench when everyone is healthy, but McDaniels has shined this season. He has nearly provided top-100 value over the past two months and finished with 15 points, six rebounds and three 3-pointers. Especially in deeper leagues, McDaniels can make a difference heading into the fantasy playoffs, when the Hornets will likely pull the plug on their veteran wings.

Players to watch for Wednesday:

Seth Curry- 29%

With Ben Simmons and T.J. Warren out again, Curry should play big minutes. After lighting up the 76ers last week, Curry hasn’t played as well over their last two games. He started in both and should continue to start against the Celtics. He’ll be worth the stream if you’re in need of 3-pointers.

Eric Gordon- 12%

Jalen Green and Kevin Porter Jr. will remain sidelined for Wednesday’s matchup with the Thunder. In their last game, Gordon shined with 24 points, seven assists and two steals. EG can provide buckets and threes, but the assist and steal bonus from the extra playmaking opportunities make him a prime streaming option.

Tari Eason- 29%

Alperen Şengün is off the injury report and will play on Wednesday after a one-game absence. That will likely push Eason back to a role off the bench, but he’s worth keeping an eye on. He has recorded two straight double-doubles and has proven that he can provide defensive stats. He’s a risky stream on Wednesday, but he’s worth stashing for later in the season when he’ll likely play a larger role. The trade deadline could also benefit him greatly.

Montrezl Harrell- 4%

Joel Embiid is questionable for Wednesday’s rematch with the Magic. If Embiid sits, Harrell should be streamed everywhere. In seven starts this season, Harrell has averaged 13.7 points and 7.0 rebounds.

Moritz Wagner- 16%

Wendell Carter Jr. is questionable to play against the 76ers on Wednesday with a right foot plantar fascia strain. That’s the injury that held him out for a month earlier this season, so it wouldn’t be shocking to see the Magic be cautious. Wagner finished with 22 points, six rebounds and one block in 22 minutes off the bench on Monday and should slide into the starting lineup if Wendell can’t suit up.
