Mayank and Manish could not bat up to their potential against the Services
Leading the Karnataka side, Agarwal opened the innings for his team on a good-looking Chinnaswamy track. The right-handed batter played two elegant strokes as the ball reached the boundary on both occasions. However, a peach from pacer Gurdev Pathania meant that Agarwal knicks the ball which is safely pouched by the wicketkeeper Devender Lohchab. However, Agarwal managed to stroke a fifty in the second innings of the match.
To note, Mayank was stripped from the captaincy and was later released from the PBKS squad ahead of the IPL auction. Going to the auction, the Indian batter has set a base price of INR one crore.
Manish Pandey also failed to get going against the Services. Manish managed to score just ten runs in the first innings. In the second innings as well, Pandey stroked 23 runs in just 24 deliveries. Pandey was a part of the Lucknow Super Giants in IPL. However, his poor show with the bat meant that LSG released him from their squad. He has also set a base price of INR one crore for himself in the upcoming auction. Both Pandey and Agarwal will look to have a much better outing against a meek-looking Puducherry side.

Rahane needs a big score against Hyderabad to boost his chances in the auction
Mumbai skipper Ajinkya Rahane scored a decent 44 against Andhra but failed to convert it to a big score. The right-handed batter did not get a chance to bat in the second innings as Mumbai completed the chase with nine wickets to spare. The senior batter needs to play an impactful knock against Hyderabad to catch IPL franchises attention.
