Indian Women’s Cricket Team led by Harmanpreet Kaur start their Women’s Asia Cup 2022 campaign by playing against Sri Lanka at the Sylhet Outer Cricket Stadium, Sylhet. All the matches will be played in Sylhet’s two venues. This match starts at 1 pm IST.
The Women in Blue are fresh off their ODI series win against England. They won the series 3-0 against the hosts. Senior batters including Harmanpreet Kaur and Smriti Mandhana scored some very important runs in the series.
India starts their campaign on an opening day against Sri Lanka. India next plays Malaysia (October 3) and UAE (October 4) on successive days before taking on Pakistan on October 7.

A total of seven teams are participating in this tournament namely, India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Malaysia, Thailand and UAE. Bangladesh faces off against Thailand in the first match of the series. The seven teams will be competing in a round-robin format. The tournament will be played in the T20 format.
