Bangladesh Cricket Team won a thriller against India in the 1st ODI as the team won the match by 1 wicket. The Bangladeshi Tigers made a statement to the Indian Cricket Team that they are not just to participate. The team though almost made a mess of the target as they were in a good position at 128-4.
The Men in Blue would be crestfallen as they weren’t able to wrap up the match. The Skipper Rohit Sharma wouldn’t have thought of such a performance by Bangladesh. India would rue the fact that a score of around 220 runs would have given them a solid chance in the match.

KL Rahul Drops A Massive Catch
At the end of the 42nd over Bangladesh’s score was 155-9 where they required another 32 runs to win from 8 overs. Skipper Rohit Sharma gave the ball to the dashing speedster Shardul Thakur. Mehidy wasn’t able to score runs on the first 2 balls and was getting quite impatient. On the 3rd ball, the batter went for a slog where KL Rahul went for the catch but dropped and tried on the second attempt but couldn’t get a hold of it.

Tough Loss for India
Head Coach Rahul Dravid would be worried as the team failed to grab key moments of the match. The Men in Blue will have to quickly regroup as the 3rd ODI is scheduled on Wednesday (07th December). Skipper Rohit Sharma was a part of 2015 ODI Series defeat as he would know how humiliating the defeat was.
There are chances that the team may use Ishan Kishan at the lower middle order as he can be lethal. The management needs to pull a rabbit out of the hat as making a comeback after such a heart-wrenching loneedson’t be easy as one of the top 4 batters need to stay till at least 40 overs.
