The Wizards may not be in the running for a playoff spot, but they enter Wednesday’s game against the Hawks having won five of their last seven games. Three of those wins came against opponents in playoff position.
They’ll have a chance to make it four in Atlanta with the Hawks currently tied for eighth in the East with the Brooklyn Nets. Washington is 1-2 against the Hawks on the year; the last matchup saw Atlanta clinch a three-point victory in D.C.
