“Well, first of all,” said Boston Celtics Hall of Fame big man Bill Russell of Kevin Garnett, “He would have to defend me.” So began a clinic on NBA defense from two Celtics legends renowned for their defensive intensity.
Garnett, a Hall of Famer in his own right, joined the recently-departed Boston icon to talk defensive fundamentals in a clip touching on not only how to keep an opponent from putting points on the board, but also touched on the motivation a player needs to win at a high level as well as the importance of family to the two frontcourt legends.
