Grant WIlliams on his final season with the Boston Celtics

Former Boston Celtics forward Grant Williams recently said that he looks back at his behavior early in his final Celtics season as being unprofessional and that he and Boston head coach Joe Mazzulla were close before professional disagreements last season, though he’ll always love his former Celtics jefe.

A recent Boston Globe interview came out as the Charlotte native’s first admission of tension between himself and Mazzulla began to spread as well, who put him on the bench him for most of the second half of the 2022-23 NBA season before getting himself signed and traded to the Dallas Mavericks in free agency last week.
