Golf’s glamour girl Paige Spiranac has hit out at double standards among sports fans after a video of two muscular baseball players dancing shirtless at a went viral.
One of the most polarizing figures in the sport, it’s undeniable that the American has made her mark, taking social media by storm in her tiny, tight-fitting skirts and low-cut tops.
Rivaling Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy in popularity, the 29-year-old has racked up 3.8million Instagram followers, earning herself the title of ‘world’s sexiest woman’ from Maxim magazine.
Spiranac also uses her massive platform to wade in on golf’s hottest topics, from the controversial Saudi-backed LIV Tour to dress codes.
On Sunday, she commented on a viral video of two shirtless male baseball players that has only been met with positivity, in stark contrast to comments often made about videos featuring sportswomen.

‘Interesting how different the reaction is online when men choose to show off their bodies,’ Spiranac wrote on Twitter.
‘Not one comment on this video calling them attention wh**es or s**ts. Just a ton of women saying baseball is now their favourite sport but those same women harshly judge me. The hypocrisy lol.’
The shirtless men in the video clip are members of the Savannah Party Animals, an exhibition baseball team from Georgia.
Spiranac has recently claimed that she would like to play golf with Tiger Woods or Tom Brady, but worries about ‘disgusting sexual’ rumours that get spread every time she works with a man, making her feel that she cannot participate in certain events.
‘One thing people don’t talk about with being a woman in a male-dominated industry, whether it’s golf or the sports industry, is that any time I do content with another man there are rumors and comments, and it’s all disgusting sexual stuff,’ she said in an Instagram Q&A.
‘It’s just so unfair, and any time I’m pictured with another man … the comments are just gross.
‘It’s really frustrating because I don’t feel like I get to interact with people normally … I don’t want to start any of those rumors for myself or for them.
‘I just wish people could be normal and realize that here could just be a male-female working relationship with nothing else going on.’
The 30-year-old doesn’t shy away from the fact her platform garners controversy and has regularly tackled trolls on social media.
Spiranac added that ‘no matter what I do, people are going to criticize it,’ so she’s tried to block out the haters as best she can.

‘I don’t care what people think about me anymore. Are they going to take me seriously? No. They never did, and who cares if they do now,’ she added.
In 2022 Spiranac was blasted for her inappropriate golf attire and verbally abused by a ‘Karen’ who called her out for looking ‘slutty’ when the two met.
‘This lady goes up to one of the workers … She comes straight up to me, stops me in the parking lot and she goes, ‘Woman to woman, you need to hear this, you look cute but that is highly inappropriate, we have rules here and you cannot wear that outfit’ … I literally cried all the way home,’ she said on her Playing a Round podcast.
Spiranac was also attacked by vile trolls who called her ‘fat’ and ‘ugly’ after she was named Maxim’s sexiest woman.
