The Philadelphia 76ers got a big boost off the bench to begin their night on Saturday against the Atlanta Hawks in the form of Furkan Korkmaz. The veteran hopped off the bench and poured in six points in the first quarter with the team needing offense.

He added another point in the second quarter, but he then left the game as he was grabbing at his knee. After heading to the back to get checked out, the team then ruled that it is a left knee injury and Korkmaz will not return in this one. He finishes with seven points and he made all three of his field goal attempts.

On a night where the Sixers are already shorthanded without James Harden and De’Anthony Melton, it would have been nice to have Korkmaz for the entire night to help with ball-handling. However, they will once again have to piece it together as they move forward.
