Two former University of Tennessee basketball players competed in the NBA playoffs Saturday.
In Brooklyn, Boston, the No. 2 seed in the Eastern Conference, took a 3-0 lead in the best-of-7 quarterfinal series with a 109-103 victory.
Grant Williams played 32 minutes for the Celtics. He had seven points, five rebounds, one assist and one steal.
Williams was 3-for-7 from the floor and 1-for-3 from beyond the 3-point arc.
In Toronto, the Raptors avoided elimination with a 110-102 victory over Philadelphia at Scotiabank Arena.
Tobias Harris started for the 76ers and played 41 minutes.
He recorded a double-double with 15 points and 11 rebounds. Harris also had two blocks and one steal.
