Two former University of Tennessee basketball players competed in the NBA Tuesday. Two others were inactive.

In Philadelphia, Boston defeated the 76ers, 135-87, at Wells Fargo Center.

It was the ninth consecutive victory for Boston.

Grant Williams started at power forward for Boston and played 26 minutes.

The former two-time Southeastern Conference Player of the Year, had 12 points, three rebounds and one assist.

Williams was 4-for-5 from the floor with all of his shot attempts coming from beyond the 3-point arc.

Tobias Harris started at power forward for the 76ers and played 28 minutes. He had six points, five rebounds, one assist and one steal.

He was 2-for-7 from the floor and 2-for-2 from the free throw line.

Rookie Jaden Springer was inactive for the 76ers.

In New Orleans, Memphis defeated the Pelicans, 121-109, at Smoothie King Center. Rookie Yves Pons was inactive for the Grizzlies.
