For this World Cup, Budweiser has a contract with Fifa worth around £65 million. Additionally, they have a World Cup agreement for up to £95 million for 2026. The following competition will have more countries competing in it and will be hosted around the USA, Canada, and Mexico. That means that instead of the present 64-match schedule, it will include 104 games .

However to compensate for the losses due to  restriction in Qatar, they are expected to demand that FIFA reduce a hefty £40 million from the cost of being the official beer supplier.
