These Elegal Shoemaker loafers that he sent me are some of the most solid loafers I have encountered. You can feel the robust nature of them. That feels like quality. The upper leather is a bit porous and often the patinas coming out of some of the East Asian makers have quite a strong aroma of chemicals, which I have yet to conclude where that comes from. But I presume it is the dyes themselves, which are probably not Saphir. Nonetheless, I like the patina style and the color is beautiful. I share my critiques in the unboxing video (below) but feel that Elegal Shoemaker will come to do great things.
Elegal Shoemaker is a newish shoemaker on the scene rising rapidly in the social media sphere. He comes from Vietnam and is making some very impressive shoes for the price. And since looking at this shoe and critiquing it in my unboxing video, I can already see that he is taking the feedback and making his shoes better and better. I highly suggest checking him out as he is on the rise and has a promising future ahead.
