Draymond, Lacob celebrate Warriors’ playoff clinch in hallway originally appeared on NBC Sports Bayarea
It was all smiles for the Warriors after a thrilling 111-107 win over the Utah Jazz on Saturday that featured a 21-point comeback and a 24-4 run to close the game in the fourth quarter and clinch a playoff spot.
Draymond Green, unsurprisingly, had an instant video reaction on social media, and it featured Warriors owner Joe Lacob in the hallway outside the locker room.
“Good win, Dub Nation,” Green said. “Yessir, Joe!”
Lacob responded: “Way to will us to victory, man.”
“Come on now,” Green said. “We right back at it. We ain’t done yet, though. Dub Nation, we here. Let’s get it.”
Klay Thompson and Jordan Poole fueled the Warriors’ comeback with 36 and 31 points, respectively, but Green had a strong night as well, approaching triple-double territory with 10 points, nine rebounds and seven assists. His plus/minus rating of plus-20 was second on the team.
Steph Curry, too, had a quick celebratory reaction.
“Hey, Dub Nation, we’ll see y’all in the playoffs, right?” he said. “Let’s go!”
The Warriors hope that Curry will be back for the playoffs, and Green alongside him playing at an All-Star level.
