Basketball analyst Doris Burke has agreed to a multi-year extension with ESPN, the network announced Tuesday.

Burke’s agreement includes ESPN’s high-profile games through the regular season and the playoffs, as well ESPN Radio for the NBA Finals and the NBA Sunday Showcase on ABC.

“Doris is recognized and admired across the media industry and in the NBA for her ability to educate, inform, entertain and teach the game.” ESPN Vice President Tim Corrigan said in a statement.

“Her passion for the craft combined with her ability to connect and build trust with the audience is as good as anyone in the business. Doris is a star and we are thrilled to continue with her trailblazing career.”

The Hall of Fame broadcaster and one of the nation’s leading commentators joined ESPN in 1991. She became a game analyst prior to the 2017-2018 NBA season and the first woman to serve as a game analyst for the NBA Finals when she provided commentary on ESPN Radio in 2020.
