After wooing the crowds at the Iowa State Fair, Donald Trump was back in New Jersey to soak up the action on the final day of LIV Golf.

The former president skipped round two of the breakaway’s tournament hosted at his Bedminster, New Jersey golf course Saturday to battle Ron DeSantis for GOP support at the Iowa State Fair.

But, after a pitstop in Iowa to claim DeSantis should drop out of the Republican race, Trump was back in business in Bedminster Sunday, to take center stage once again as Cameron Smith and Phil Mickelson looked to battle it out for the individual trophy.

After swooping in to win over GOP voters in Iowa, Trump needed only to show up at his Trump National Bedminster to rally support.

The supporters gathered around the first tee box chanted his name, before he flashed a thumbs up in the direction of one lady who cried out, ’47.’

His valet Walt Nauta was a familiar sight glued to his side. The butler, who pleaded not guilty to charges in Florida Thursday – a court appearance Trump opted to skip – followed Trump along the range.

Special Counsel Jack Smith’s team has accused Nauta and property manager Carlos  De Oliveira of conspiring with Trump to thwart the investigation into the highly-sensitive documents he took to Mar-a-Lago when he left the White House.

Two weeks ago Smith added additional charges claiming Trump also tried to wipe the servers to get rid of surveillance footage.

De Oliveira, who wasn’t known until he was included in the classified documents indictment, didn’t enter a plea Thursday as he looks to hire a local lawyer.

Trump was also joined by attorney Alina Habba, who recently said she expects the former president’s fourth indictment to come down ‘within weeks’ – this time out of the Georgia election probe – and son Eric, who he played the pro-am with Thursday.

Nauta appeared to hand a phone over to Habba at one point on the first tee as the pair looked at something on the screen. They then were spotted in conversation with Trump.

They had joined the former president earlier in the week during the first round of the tournament.

Ahead of his first tee appearance, the 77-year-old took his now-customary stroll along the driving range before the round – treating it as a meet and greet for all the professionals warming up.

The hoard of spectators pressed against the fencing in front of the range had the attention avidly fixed on every move he made.

The gallery turned into a sea of camera phones following him as he ambled down the line.

He stopped by some of the familiar American faces, such as Bryson DeChambeau, Brooks Koepka and Patrick Reed, stopping to have a lengthy conversation with the latter’s coach Kevin Kirk.

But he also interacted with the non-US stars, including South Africa’s Louis Oosthuizen and Englishman Lee Westwood. Trump even signed a flag for Henrik Stenson’s caddie, Gareth Lord.

In Trump’s absence from the event Saturday, his daughter Ivanka and son Eric stepped up.

In pictures exclusive to DailyMail.com, Eric and his wife Lara watched on as overnight leader Cam Smith, Patrick Reed and Charles Howell III kickstarted their second rounds on Saturday.

Lara looked effortlessly chic in a white t-shirt, lilac golf skort and a matching light purple cap with ‘TRUMP’ emblazoned above the brim in bright orange stitching.

The couple were joined by their two young children, son Eric ‘Luke’, 5, and daughter, Carolina, who turns four later this month.

Eric’s sister, Ivanka, was also spotted in attendance with husband, Jared Kushner, but the couple opted to keep cool and sought refuge in the suite throughout the day.

They were spotted in video and photos exclusive to DailyMail.com heading towards the clubhouse at her dad’s luxury golf course with their two sons Theodore and Joseph.
