The 45th U.S. President has been having success in the polls and on the golf course despite the heat he is facing from the Department of Justice.

Donald Trump has long been connected with the golfing world, most notably thanks to his luxuriant portfolio, including 17 elaborate courses.

The near-certain 2024 Republican presidential candidate has cashed in thanks to his courses, with Sportico reporting he earned ‘as much as $555million between January 2022 and April 14, 2023’ after analyzing his most recent Federal Election Commission Disclosure.

It equates to the $1.2billion income in which the polarizing former President reportedly accrued across that period. The half-billion sum more than doubled the $237m from the 2020 calendar year.

‘We have the most spectacular and iconic assets anywhere in the world and as a company, we have never been stronger,’ Eric Trump, Executive Vice President of the Trump Organization exclusively told Dailymail.com. ‘I am very proud of my team and of our performance.’

Trump’s income from the golf courses are derived from ownership, in addition to ‘management or licensing interests’, according to the outlet. In other words, beyond membership and admission to his courses.

His Doral, FL. course earned Trump an enormous $159.3m across the 15-month period, per Spotrac, closely followed by Turnberry in Scotland ($52m) and Bedminster, N.J. ($46.2m).

Known to be a vocal supporter of LIV Golf, his courses have hosted the Saudi-backed breakaway league on multiple occasions in recent years.

LIV’s $50m season-ending team championship will take place at Trump’s National Doral Golf Club on October 20-22.

The expansive course also hosted Buffalo Bills safety Jordan Poyer’s charity golf event this month. This came after it was initially canceled due to sponsors objection to its occurrence at a Trump-owned locale.

Trump himself has found time to swing the clubs, filmed having a round recently at the Los Angeles Country Club.
