Payton Pritchard saw his playing time fall off a cliff last season as he felt the minutes crunch following the Boston Celtics‘ addition of Malcolm Brogdon. Despite struggling for a legitimate role in Boston’s rotation, Pritchard has been chosen to join the USA Select Team this summer, per ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.

In a recent episode of ‘The Green With Envy Podcast,’ the hosts discuss whether Pritchard will be ‘in above his head’ when playing alongside and against some of the best young talent the NBA has to offer. The hosts also look at the other side of the coin, discussing whether Pritchard is capable of playing at a higher level, but his limited role has seen his chances to impress fall by the wayside.
