Game notes: The Pistons are on an NBA-high nine-game losing streak and own the league’s worst record. They’ve all but locked up the best odds at landing the No. 1 pick in May’s draft lottery. The Pistons have been shorthanded the past week and more, but are expected to return Jalen Duren (ankle) and Killian Hayes (hand). Isaiah Stewart, Bojan Bogdanovic, Alec Burks and Hamidou Diallo are all out. … The Hornets held off a Pistons rally, 117-106, on Feb. 27 in Charlotte, but lost LaMelo Ball (broken ankle) for the season during that game.
