In addition, reserve guard Dennis Schroder missed Friday’s win over the Phoenix Suns with neck soreness, and he is now also listed on the injury report with soreness in his right Achilles tendon.
Given that the Lakers will be facing the Utah Jazz, a mediocre team that is out of play-in contention, on Sunday afternoon, it may be prudent for them to sit Schroder out as a precautionary measure. Achilles ailments are something no one wants to play around with.
