The Chicago Bulls opened their season up on Wednesday night with a road victory against the Miami Heat, 116-108.

Without Zach LaVine in the lineup, it was old faithful DeMar DeRozan who put on his superhero cape and led the Bulls to victory.

DeRozan finished with 37 points, 6 rebounds, 9 assists, and 2 steals on 14-of-22 including 28 points in the second-half. Just as he did numerous times last season, DeRozan put the Bulls on his back come crunch time to clinch the victory against an opponent who beat Chicago in all four matchups last season.
