Cristiano Ronaldo highlighted his delight at returning to the Manchester United side by posting on Instagram following the Red Devils 3-0 win over Sheriff Tiraspol.
United defeated the Moldovan outfit on the night thanks to goals from Diego Dalot and Marcus Rashford, before Ronaldo added a third late on.
The Portuguese superstar had returned to the starting line-up just over a week on from his high-profile falling-out with manager Erik ten Hag.

It came just a week after Ronaldo stormed down the tunnel after being an unused substitute vs Tottenham and led to a well-publicised falling-out with United boss Erik ten Hag
He had refused to come on against Tottenham last Wednesday and stormed down the tunnel before full-time.
As a result Ten Hag had axed Ronaldo from his first team squad for Saturday’s game against Chelsea.
However, following talks between the pair, Ronaldo rejoined training this week and netted his 701st career goal in the Europa League win.
Following the game he shared a post with a photo of his new goal celebration and said: ‘Great team effort and a good victory. We stand together. Let’s go, United!’
Ten Hag had earlier thrown down the gauntlet for the forward to show on the pitch why he deserves a place in the side, and Ronaldo responded in perfect fashion.
It was just his third goal of the seaon for the Red Devils and his first at Old Trafford – his two previous strikes were away at Everton and Sheriff Tiraspol.

It has been a chaotic start to the season for the five-time Ballon d’Or winner so far this season.
Following the summer arrival of Erik ten Hag Ronaldo had initially tried to force through a move away from Old Trafford in the summer, but with no potential destinations forthcoming, he began the season at United, where he is under contract until 2023.
He was notably dropped for the club’s first game of the season, which saw them lose 2-1 to Brighton in front of their own supporters.
Afterwards Ronaldo posted his celebration on Instagram and praised the team’s performance
The 37-year-old has so far started three of United’s 11 Premier League games, as well as all five in the Europa League, as he has seen his game time reduced to that of a bit-part player under Ten Hag.
After a slow start, Thursday’s game eventually finished 3-0, with Ronaldo’s finish the third and final of the game in Europa League Group E.
Diogo Dalot opened the scoring with his second in a United shirt – which is a staggering juxtaposition with Ronaldo’s 701st in his career.
Marcus Rashford then doubled the ascendancy in the second half with a well-timed header from a Luke Shaw cross, ending his own five-game barren run.
