Cristiano Ronaldo insists he is ‘committed and focused’ ahead of Portugal’s World Cup opener against Ghana as Man United outcast speaks out after bombshell interview blasting his club
Cristiano Ronaldo has claimed he is fully ‘committed and focused’ on Portugal’s World Cup campaign in the wake of his explosive interview blasting Manchester United.
The veteran forward, 37, slammed his own club and manager Erik ten Hag in a bombshell conversation with TV presenter Piers Morgan last week.
United have initiated the legal process of ending Ronaldo’s reported £500,000-a-week contract at the club.
United are looking to terminate Ronaldo’s contract seven months early without paying any of the £16million he is predicted to earn by June 2023.
The club believe Ronaldo has violated his terms of employment with his comments in the interview.
