Xavier Moon signed a two-way contract with the Los Angeles Clippers on Saturday after a previous stint with the team earlier this season.

Moon, who went undrafted out of Morehead State in 2017, previously signed three 10-day contracts via the hardship exception in December and January. He averaged 5.5 points, 1.7 assists and 1.5 rebounds in six appearances with the Clippers.

The signing was possible after the team converted the two-way contract of Amir Coffey to a standard NBA deal. Moon will now have the opportunity to play with the Clippers for the duration of the season.

Moon, the nephew of Jamario Moon, spent the last three seasons in the Canadian Elite Basketball League before joining the Agua Caliente Clippers this year in the NBA G League. He averaged 18.7 points, 6.3 assists, 4.6 rebounds and 1.7 steals in 19 games.
