The Boston Celtics raised Hall of Fame big man Kevin Garnett‘s No. 5 jersey up to the rafters at TD Garden on Sunday afternoon after their unfortunate loss to the Dallas Mavericks, with familiar faces spanning decades of the storied franchise’s history in attendance.
Many of Garnett’s friends and peers who could not make the event also gave their kudos via prepared video messages, with the big day for the Big Ticket capped off with a very public end to the feud between himself and former teammate Ray Allen, with the pair joined by fellow Banner 17 champion Paul Pierce for an embrace.
