The Boston Celtics started last season out of synch and lacking cohesion, but finished their 2021-22 campaign with the top defense AND offense in the league, cutting through the Eastern Conference Playoffs to make the NBA Finals for the first time in more than a decade.
That outcome shocked just about everyone save perhaps the Celtics themselves, including even former Celtic forward Dino Radja, who did not see Boston’s impressive postseason run coming like the rest of us. But despite his surprise at Boston’s late-season transformation, Radja believes the Celtics are due to have another big postseason in 2023 with Jayson Tatum poised to have a Kobe Bryant-like leap.
Radja also gets into his time with the team, telling a host of stories about Robert Parish, Shaquille O’Neal, Michael Jordan, and Karl Malone
Take a look at the clip embedded above put together by the folks at Heavy’s “Celtics Collective” podcast to see if Radja can convince you of Boston’s potential as well.
