Wimbledon champion Carlos Alcaraz demonstrated his reactions after quickly recovering the gold trophy after dropping it during a live television interview.
Alcaraz was appearing on American broadcaster CNN following his five-set triumph over Novak Djokovic in the men’s singles final on Sunday.
The 20-year-old Spaniard conducted the interview alongside the gold Wimbledon trophy.
Alcaraz was asked by the CNN presenters whether he could hold up the trophy at the conclusion of the interview.
The trophy slipped out of Alcaraz’s grasp, prompting him to nervously laugh as he recovered his prize.

Alcaraz posted a series of laughing emojis on Twitter after a clip of the incident was uploaded on social media.
The Spaniard’s version of the Wimbledon trophy appeared to escape any damage from Alcaraz’s mishap.
Winners of the singles titles at the All England Club only hold the official trophies for a brief period after winning on Centre Court.
Players are required to give back the trophies following the presentations and photographs after winning the title.
Champions then receive replicas, roughly three quarters of the size of the official trophies, which remain permanently in SW19 at the Wimbledon Museum.
Alcaraz appeared to usher in a changing of the guard in men’s tennis by beating seven-time champion Djokovic 1-6, 7-6, 6-1, 3-6, 6-4 on Sunday, ending the Serb’s 10-year winning streak on Centre Court.
The world number one scooped the top prize of £2.3million as well as the Wimbledon trophy, as he secured the second Grand Slam title of his burgeoning career.

Alcaraz had described his triumph over Djokovic at the All England Club as the biggest moment of his life.
‘To make history that I did today is the happiest moment of my life,’ said Alcaraz, also the reigning US Open champion.
‘I think it’s not going to change for a long time.
‘Beating Novak, winning the Wimbledon championship is something that I have dreamt about since I started playing tennis.
‘That’s why it is the biggest moment of my life.’
