Brooks Koepka’s wife has sent her support after he crumbled on the final day of the Masters.

Jon Rahm achieved a final round of 69, while four-time Major winner Koepka misfired to a three-over round of 75, allowing the Spaniard claim his first green jacket.

It was a disappointing conclusion for Koepka, who along with Phil Mickelson, finished four shots off Rahm – meaning his wait for a first Masters title goes on.

There had been optimism for Koepka as he started the final day four shots clear of Rahm with 11 shots left to play in the third round.

Though he couldn’t hold on and take victory, his wife Jena Sims, has paid special tribute to her husband on Instagram, while also congratulating Rahm and his partner Kelley Cahill.

‘Huge congrats to the Rahm family, played like hell out there and well deserved.’

The next post on her Instagram story she shared a picture of Rahm and Cahill kissing after he had sealed the victory.

Sims, an actress and model, married Koepka in June last year on the Turks and Caicos islands in the Carribean.

Though she watched the final day on television, earlier in the week she had been a caddy for her husband at the Augusta Par-3 tournament.

Sims shared several pictures and videos of herself wearing the iconic white jumpsuit as she carried her husband’s clubs around the course.

Sims previously said she was a longtime golf fan and that she had always grown up watching the sport because of her dad.

‘I’ve known this for a while, but I guess it was just a matter of going out and doing it,’ he said. ‘I led for three rounds and just didn’t do it on the last day, that’s it. Plain and simple.

‘Eventually this will be a positive. I’d say probably give it a week and I’ll start to see some positives out of it and carry this over to the PGA, the US Open and The Open.

‘But right now, it’s kind of tough to see, if I’m honest, probably for the next few hours and the next few days.’
