British star Katie Boulter watches her boyfriend Alex De Minaur in action at Wimbledon

Katie Boulter was spotted watching her boyfriend Alex de Minaur who lost to Matteo Matteo Berrettini on Court 18 today 3-6, 4-6, 4-6. 

The pair, who have been dubbed ‘Wimbledon’s hottest mixed doubles team’, will forces later today as they take on John Peers and Storm Hunter in the the joint event. 

But it was a tough day for the Australian, who saw off Belgium’s Kimmer Coppejans 7-6 (7-5), 6-3, 6-3, 7-6 (7-2) earlier this week, but will now be out of the men’s singles tournament, after today’s loss.

De Minaur will still play in the mixed singles alongside Boulter, but he struggled today against the Italian after he failed to wrestle a set off the world No 38, who hit 13 aces past his opponent.  

Boulter meanwhile, powered into the third round of the Women’s singles tournament on Thursday, and De Minaur was there to watch on as she cruised past Viktoriya Tomova 6-0, 3-6, 6-3.

Boulter has got off to a flying start this year at Wimbledon after she defeated Daria Saville 7-6 (7-4), 6-2, notably playing through two Just Stop Oil protests to secure a berth in the second round of the Championship.

She faces a tough challenge in the fourth round as she has been drawn against third seed and defending champion Elena Rybakina. 

But it seems she’s been soaking up the atmosphere at SW19 and has headed out to court 18 to watch the 15th seed in action.

The pair have been dating since 2021 and both have very good chances to go deep in the competition, both in their respective singles competitions and as a duo in the mixed doubles. 

They are also renting a house quite close to the All England Club, with De Minaur announcing their relationship on Instagram earlier this year. 

‘Happy International Women’s Day! Specially to this one, I don’t mind you,’ he wrote.

Boulter replied: ‘Guess you’re OK too’ with a love heart.

The couple are one of several notable relationships within the sport with Stefanos Tsitsipas and Paula Badosa were also set to take part in the mixed doubles this week and have also been seen watching each other compete.

Boulter comes into wimbledon off the back at two first round exits at the Rothesay International and the Rothesay Classic.

Her longest run in the All England Championship came last year, where she advanced to the third round, but was knocked out by French player Harmony Tan. 

‘I feel like I’m playing some really good tennis,’ she said ahead of the tournament. ‘I have practiced unbelievably well every single day this week. I have played seven matches on the grass and I’m very happy with where I’m at. 

‘I don’t think I’ve lost any confidence this last couple of weeks just because I lost to higher-ranked players. I really don’t feel that at all.’ 

Speaking on her relationship with De Minaur, Boulter also recently said: ‘We all get to spend a whole lot of time together. I have the option of popping out when I want to – I know where the closest coffee shop is, where the stringers are – so this is a place I can call home.’

‘But I am here feeling very privileged. I have to get a job done and keep grounded. I need to work as much as possible to keep as ready as ever.

‘I wouldn’t say anything has changed (since being No 1). I love to have that feeling when the crowd is roaring and I appreciate it more than anything else on this planet, hopefully I can use that.

‘I have an incredible team, boyfriend and friends around me who are super level headed and keep me grounded.’
