Britain’s Neal Skupski is through to the last 16 of the men’s doubles at the US Open along with Wesley Koolhof of the Netherlands.

Skupski and Koolhof took on Steve Johnson and Sam Querrey of the United States and managed to prevail 6-3, 6-7 (5-7), 6-4.

The result means that Skupski and Koolhof will face Max Purcell and Matthew Ebden in the next round on Monday.

The No 1 seeds won 7-6 (6-4), 6-2 against Christopher Eubanks and Alycia Parkes. 

Tomorrow they will face Caty McNally and William Blumberg.
