Wimbledon champion and ardent Liverpool fan Neal Skupski would jump at the chance of parading his latest trophy in front of The Kop.
Skupski, 33, made it a hat-trick of SW19 titles on Saturday when he and partner Wesley Koolhof won the men’s doubles on Centre Court and the icing on the cake would be to share his success with thousands of Reds fans.
‘I’d love to step out at Anfield and show all the local fans the trophy, especially in front of the new stand that has been built,’ he revealed.
‘I’ll get back to my city Liverpool after the Champions Dinner on Sunday and spend a bit of time there relaxing for a few days before meeting up again with Wesley for the North American swing and US Open.
‘Everyone is very happy right now at my local tennis club, Palmerston. I’ve seen videos of them all watching the final on TV and cheering. They looked like they were having a pretty good time.’

Merseysider Skupski also has an outstanding engagement left with Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp.
The pair were booked to play each other at Padel, a cross between squash and tennis that’s popular in Europe, but the German had to withdraw after pulling his hamstring on the touchline during a game against Spurs.
Top seeds Skupski and Koolhoff beat Marcel Granollers and Horacio Zeballos 6-4 6-4 in the final adding to Skupski’s mixed doubles titles from the previous two years.
He is the first British man to win titles at three consecutive Wimbledon championships since Fred Perry in 1936 and any British player since Dorothy Round who completed her hat-trick in 1937.
