Australian Women’s Cricket Team is all set to lock horns against India starting from 9th December. T20 World Cup Champions is going to play a 5 T20I match Series in India. 2 T20Is of the 5 matches are going to be played at DY Patil Stadium whereas the remaining 3 T20Is of the match are going to be played at Cricket Club of India, Mumbai.
This T20I Series is going to be a fascinating one as both the teams are evenly matched. This T20I match series can prove to be the stepping stone for both the teams as Women’s T20 World Cup is scheduled in South Africa in February 2023.
Australia Women On A Roll
The women’s Big Bash League (WBBL) final is scheduled for 26th November. Due to WBBL, Aussie cricketers would be well prepared for the India challenge. Australia Women has the wood over India in bilateral T20I Series where they have played __ series and won __ out of them. Recently, they also won the Commonwealth Games final against India where they won a thriller and broke the hearts of a billion people. The peculiarity of Aussies is that they find match winners on a given day and are not dependent on a single individual.
Stern Task for India Women
The team recently may have won the Asia Cup 2022 but still, there are a lot of loopholes. The team’s arsenal is their batting but every time the batters won’t bail out the team. The skipper Harmanpreet Kaur once again will have to take responsibility of the team and provide stability to the team in the middle overs phase.
Indian Women’s Cricket Team has shown that they have got all the traits in it to succeed but the problem with them is that they fell like a pack of cards. Australia Women would be well prepared for all sorts of challenges as we can witness a cracker of a T20I Series. It would be interesting to see whether Indian Women change its approach in a high-octane clash.
