Brooks Koepka blazed ahead of the pack to an early solo lead on the second day of The Masters.
Koepka, who currently plies his trade on the LIV Golf circuit, carded a bogey-free second round, giving himself a three-shot cushion on Jon Rahm who heads up the chasing pack at nine-under par.
The story of the day though comes from amateur golfer Sam Bennet, who fired his way to a stunning four-under par 68 on day two to take him to third in the standings at -8.
Shortly after he finished up his round, rain stopped play twice before the day was abandoned with fears of thunder and lightning at Augusta.
Yet, despite the weather we still got to see plenty of golf, and in Friday’s Augusta Diary, Mike Keegan is walking you through the things you might have missed from day two at The Masters.

A nice moment this week when Scott Stallings met Scott Stallings.
One, an estate agent from Atlanta, was mistakenly sent an invite to Augusta meant for his namesake, a 38-year-old pro from Massachusetts.
After the mix-up was resolved, Stallings the golfer invited the original recipient to the course.
Kim’s fashion statement
South Korea’s Kim Si-woo made his feelings on the LIV row abundantly clear with his choice of attire. The 27-year-old, paired with leading rebel Phil Mickelson, wore a polo shirt with the words ‘PGA Tour’ written all over it. A bold move.
…Or LIV and let LIV?
While some players have made their thoughts clear on the rift, the same cannot be said of the patrons.
Around the ropes there has been barely any talk of LIV and the rebels have been given as much support as the rest of the field.
Olazabal’s Rahm wish
Jose Maria Olazabal is hoping Spanish compatriot Jon Rahm triumphs.
He said: ‘It’s the 40th anniversary on Sunday (of Seve Ballesteros’s 1983 win), and that would have been Seve’s birthday. Sometimes the stars align.’
WHOOP-de-doo Rory
While much has been made of Rory McIlroy’s walk and talk, the Northern Irishman is one of a number of players who are embracing technology in other ways.
McIlroy and Justin Thomas are both investors in the WHOOP band, a wearable health tracker.

Bryson’s bogey troubles
Bryson DeChambeau’s struggles continue. The LIV Rebel has been in dreadful form for some time and repeated Thursday’s 74 to leave him at four over.
DeChambeau is far removed from the muscle-bound, self-styled innovator who once predicted his length off the tee would turn Augusta into a par 67 rather than 72.
Woodland Laughs it off
Gary Woodland moved to end the controversy that emerged on Thursday, following claims partner Brooks Koepka’s caddie told Woodland’s bagman what club his player had just used on the 15th hole.
Woodland, who took a five-iron for the shot, joked: ‘If I’d have known he hit a five-iron, I’d have hit a six-iron into the water!’
