The Boston Celtics have had some embarrassing losses in recent weeks. They have been shamed by lesser teams who showed up to play on nights the Celtics just did not have it in them to play the right way.
But are we as fans getting a little too worked up about the play behind these bad losses to mediocre teams? Should fans of the club cut Boston a little more slack given the team still owns the top record in the league as of the time of this writing?
On one hand, it is hard to argue against overall success, which Boston has had plenty of this season. On the other, the nature of the losses against focused ball clubs who see the Celtics as a target is more than just mildly concerning.
On a recent episode of the CLNS Media “Celtics Beat” podcast, the hosts were joined by NBC Sports Boston’s Chris Forsberg, who spoke on the stumbles as well as what Boston might do to address them.
Take a look at the clip embedded above to hear what they had to say!
