One of the highlights of the stacked sneaker release line-up for All-Star Weekend is this brand new iteration of the Air Jordan 3 that ostensibly borrows an OG colorway from the Air Jordan 7. While the Cardinal Jordan 3 features familiar DNA with the white leather upper and grey/black elephant pattern, the shade of red and hit of golden yellow is a clear take on 1992’s Air Jordan 7 “Cardinal”. This unexpected crossover of originals has coerced a keen eye from Jordan fanatics, leading to a highly anticipated drop this weekend.
Just to clarify, the Air Jordan 3 “Cardinal” releases on February 19th, 2022 in the US, while retailers overseas have their drop scheduled for Thursday, February 24th. Also releasing this Saturday is the Jordan 12 “Playoffs” at select stores (US wide release scheduled for March).
