We’re approaching the tail end of Jordan Brand’s unprecedented push of the Air Jordan 2, because just a small handful of AJ2 drops are on the release slate. Yet another women’s exclusive release is in the mix, revealed here via atmos Tokyo.
The colorway sticks close to the Jumpman legacy as a classic White, Black, and University Red formula is placed aptly on the low-top silhouette. Adding a bit of that aged flair is the yellowed “Coconut Milk” sole and heel guard.
Needless to say, the Jordan community may be a bit exhausted of the Air Jordan 2, as most of the drops haven’t quite struck a chord that the bookending models — the Air Jordan 1 and Air Jordan 3 — seem to do so release after release.
Nevertheless, a release date is set for October 10th, 2023 based on atmos Tokyo‘s launch calendar. A U.S. release date has yet to be determined.
