As the dramatic NBA off-season continues, James Harden has chosen to opt in to the final year of his contract in order to execute a trade to a different. Exactly where he’ll be playing remains to be seen.
It’s clear that the former MVP wants to move on, although the Philadelphia Sixers currently offer a strong chance at reaching the NBA Finals. The Houston Rockets seems like a possible destination, but that team is far into rebuilding mode. Phoenix is another potential trade destination as the new-look Suns likely want to part ways with DeAndre Ayton.
