Aaron Rodgers praises Novak Djokovic for being an anti-vaxxer with ‘#NovaxDjokovic’ US Open Instagram post – and even crosses out a Moderna logo with a red line

NFL star Aaron Rodgers praised Novak Djokovic for his anti-vax stance as he watched the tennis star in action at the US Open on Sunday night.

The New York Jets quarterback Rodgers posted a picture of Djokovic preparing to serve on his Instagram story and wrote: ‘#NovaxDjokovic’ with an advert for moderna crossed out in red.

He continued: ‘Bucket list being able to witness the greatness of @djokernole in person at Arthur Ashe stadium.’

Djokovic and Rodgers have both spoken openly about remaining unvaccinated against Covid-19. 

Djokovic even missed last year’s US Open because his vaccination status meant he could not enter the United States. But in May, the government lifted its requirement that all travelers entering the US had to be vaccinated.

Djokovic beat Croatia’s Borna Gojo in straight sets on Sunday night.
