Detroit Pistons draftees Jaden Ivey and Jalen Duren threw out the ceremonial first pitch on Saturday as the Tigers hosted the Kansas City Royals at Comerica Park.
The Pistons selected Ivey with the fifth pick and acquired the rights to Duren as the 13th pick in the NBA draft last week. They each have been busy getting acclimated to their new city and were treated to a baseball game over the weekend.
Ivey and Duren had the opportunity to witness a dramatic ending as the Tigers won, 4-3. The Tigers entered the ninth inning down 3-2 but walked off after back-to-back solo home runs by Victor Reyes and Riley Greene, whose jack was the first of his career.

Ivey and Duren will now continue to prepare for the Las Vegas Summer League, which tips off on Thursday. They each represent a big part of the future in Detroit and were highly-coveted players for them to target in the draft.
