Marcus Smart back for Celtics with no restrictions in Game 3 vs. Bucks originally appeared on NBC Sports Boston

He’s back.

Boston Celtics head coach Ime Udoka announced prior to Game 3 that Marcus Smart is back in the starting lineup for the team as it tries to take a 2-1 series lead over the Milwaukee Bucks in the Eastern Conference semifinals on Saturday at the Fiserv Forum.

There’ll be no minutes restriction for Smart, either, as he returns following a one-game absence due to a thigh contusion.

The Celtics cruised sans Smart in Game 2, 109-86, to even the series. Smart’s replacement in the starting lineup, Derrick White, failed to score in 28 minutes for the C’s, however, although he did dish out five assists and finish with a plus-22 rating.
