Khris Middleton was ejected in the fourth quarter of the Bucks’ game against the Nets on Thursday night after landing a hard foul on Brooklyn guard Bruce Brown during what should have been a breakaway dunk.

Brown came up with a steal just after the halfway point of the fourth quarter at the Barclays Center, and had an open lane to the other end of the court. As he approached the rim, though, Brown slowed up slightly. That gave Middleton time to catch up.

Middleton made a play on the ball, but ended up making contact with Brown’s arm while he was in the air — which sent Brown falling forward and down to the court hard.

Officials assessed a Flagrant 2 foul on Middleton, which led to an automatic ejection.

Middleton finished the night with 16 points and nine rebounds in 30 minutes.
