LeBron James continues to play some unbelievable basketball in his 20th season at age 38.
He is averaging 29.8 points on 50.9 percent shooting, 8.4 rebounds and 7.0 assists per game on the season, and incredibly, he has put up 36.4 points on 54.0 percent shooting, 9.5 boards and 8.6 assists ever since his birthday on Dec. 30.
Despite his polarizing nature, fans across the land continue to appreciate what he has been able to do this year, even though the Los Angeles Lakers have played inconsistently.
Those fans have rewarded James by making him the leading vote-getter in the balloting for the 2023 NBA All-Star Game, which will be played in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Interestingly, even though he has been injured for the past month, Anthony Davis is the third-leading vote-getter among Western Conference frontcourt players. Meanwhile, Russell Westbrook ranks sixth in the West among guards, while Austin Reaves is eighth.
Fan voting ends on Jan. 21, while the All-Game game itself will be on Sunday, Feb. 19.
