The Philadelphia 76ers took on the Memphis Grizzlies on Friday looking to even up their road trip after dropping one in Cleveland. They put on a big fourth quarter rally and made Memphis sweat a little, but in the end, the Grizzlies came away with a 117-109 win at home.

Ja Morant had 28 points, 20 coming in the first half, and he pulled down eight rebounds to lead the way for the Grizzlies. Joel Embiid had 35 points, 12 rebounds, and eight assists to lead Philadelphia, but the Sixers had a tough time in the non-Embiid minutes and even Embiid struggled with Steven Adams who pulled down a whopping 10 offensive rebounds.

After it was all over, NBA Twitter gave its best reactions to the acrobatic theatrics from Morant, the solid play of Adams, and the Grizzlies sending Embiid and the Sixers to an 0-2 start to this 3-game road trip. Philadelphia now falls to 12-11 on the season.
